Property in Murcia is already an excellent investment as the region is still “catching up” with the Costa Blanca to the north and Costa del Sol to the south. Murcia (and the EU) has invested a large amount in the region’s infrastructure including a new motorway network, the opening of Murcia (San Javier) airport to low cost airlines throughout the UK and Europe (a second runway opened in the summer of 2006) and the construction of a new International airport at Corvera.
